Rok team at NAWIC Jersey talk on embodied carbon

Rok team members, Yenni, Megan (NAWIC Jersey Committee Member) and Louise, attended the NAWIC Jersey talk on 'Calculating Embodied Carbon in Construction'.

What is carbon, operational carbon and embodied carbon? What is the life cycle of carbon in construction? These are some of the questions posed and answered by the speaker, Chris Bester, HLG Associates' Environmental & Sustainability Consultant. 

Chris also reviewed the ways in which we can estimate carbon in construction processes and what guidance is available.
